Although our Website offers baseboard, chair rail, picture rail, frame moldings and etc., in lengths greater than 8 feet, they must be shipped by Common Carrier e.g., Fed Ex Freight or scheduled for customer pick-up. Fed Ex and UPS are essentially “package sized” services and assess additional shipping charges for large packages up to 8 foot in length. For shipments of moldings over 8 feet in length, we use Fed Ex Freight and also quote a few local ground carriers such as Yellow Freight, etc. .

At FrameWorxz.com, our shopping cart system provides an estimated Fed Ex Ground charge for shipping molding up to 8 foot in length when you check out and does not factor in any oversize charges. Therefore our store does not calculate the correct shipping charge for molding lengths of 8 feet or greater. If you do require molding lengths greater than 8-foot lengths, we suggest that you place a call to us (989) 550-7648 and allow us to obtain a Fed Ex or Yellow Freight quote to your location prior to placing your order. We will quote the best ground transportation rate that we can obtain. In addition, we can obtain quotes from Con-Way, Road Way and Al Van among others depending on your preferences and the ultimate shipping destination.

In addition to the ground transportation rate, we will also quote a nominal packaging charge as ground transportation may require a wooden shipping crate (6” x 6” x 96”) etc. to protect your molding during transportation.
