Our Family

Our family follows the Mennonite religious beliefs and practices and work together in our FrameWorxz® business on our rural family farm in the Thumb of Michigan. Our love of woodworking and photography combined with our enjoyment of our farm inspired us to manufacture picture frames, shadow boxes, picture frame molding and mat pictures for many of our friends, family and customers. As the years passed, more of the family became involved and today, we offer and ship picture framing molding and equipment to many, who like us, enjoy the art of creating works of art with pictures. As a result, our business has grown over many years and now we ship picture frame molding, supplies, and equipment throughout the United States and Canada.

Our Business

We provide picture frame molding and custom frames to frame shops as well as provide custom matting for local artwork, photographs, reprints, documents needlepoint and crochet in addition to creating shadow boxes for a variety of mediums and customer requests. Our framing products are handmade and we offer a variety of hardwood species and picture frame molding profiles in Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Cypress, African Sepele, Ash, and Mahogany among others to name a few. Our craftsmanship has transitioned into artistry and each frame is crafted from original hard wood, assembled and then is ready for light sanding and staining with the stain of your choice for those who wish to have a finished picture frame. We then seal all frames with polyurethane for long lasting beauty. We can also ship unassembled and unfinished custom and standard sectional picture frames for customers to finish and use to matt their own pictures and artwork.

No matter how you look at it, when you custom frame a project for yourself by cutting and joining your own frames, you will enjoy substantial savings over any other method of picture framing. Setting aside the enjoyment derived from designing and preparing your own framed work of art; the make it yourself savings should be enough to think seriously about framing your own pictures.

Our Services

Our family can assist you in answering any questions that you may have in selecting picture frame moldings, picture frames or picture frame making equipment. In addition our shop offers a variety of Shadow Box moldings that will accommodate shelves for coins, cups, and silverware etc., among the many other items that are poplar shadow box contents today. We traditionally frame original artwork on canvass i.e. watercolor, acrylic and pastels and create the picture frame that our customers desire including the use of floating frames.

We have shipped picture frames and sectional picture frame kits throughout the United States and Canada and can assist you in your framing projects where ever you live by telephone. Should you have a print, lithograph, and original artwork or just have grandma’s lace doily that you’ve been thinking of getting framed, we will guide you in making your photograph or artwork a reality.
